About
Suzy Angus studied Film & Media Studies and Sociology at Stirling before joining CentreSound Radio where she was a producer and Board Director from 1989 to 1990.
Teaching

She was a features producer/presenter with Central FM Radio in the early 1990's, as well as working as a freelance workshop leader in radio skills with BBC E-Force, Stirling District Council, and a variety of independent groups. Suzy has also undertaken a number of writing and scriptwriting courses, and has had various short stories and features published.

In the Department she has taught on a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and now specialises in teaching practice-based radio modules, where she is co-ordinator of Radio Drama Production (FMS9C7), and Radio Feature Production (FMS9D6).  She retains good links with radio journalists, producers and scriptwriters, from both the BBC and independent companies, and they are regular guest speakers on the production modules.  Since 2005 she has been a member of the Radio Raploch Group steering committee, an organization which together with other funding bodies is setting up a community radio station as part of the Raploch Regeneration Project in Stirling.  This initiative has involved a number of workshops and training events hosted in the Department, with a 15 minute radio feature produced by students and members of Raploch community.

Suzy is on a number of committees within the department, and is an Adviser of Studies at undergraduate level.  In her spare time she paints and is continuing to study with the Open College of the Arts.
