| About |
Tim Thornicroft took a BA in Fine Art, graduating in 1976 from Cardiff College of Art. He painted for two years before joining Chapter Film Workshop in Cardiff, where he worked on a number of shorts and wrote and directed grant-aided films, which were screened at a number of UK venues. Subsequently, he co-produced video work and crewed on broadcast productions. He taught film at Newport School of Art, and television production and media studies at the University of Glamorgan, before coming to Stirling in 1990. Here, he built up the audiovisual practice element of the Department’s teaching, introducing modules in documentary and drama production and developing the range of practice work on offer.
